G'day G'day,

Well what a day Thursday has been, my first attempt at a blog and where do I start. Well my son Sydney had a field trip to the Columbus Zoo today with his school and I'm really glad that I tagged along with them, no matter how many times you visit the zoo you'll always discover something new everytime for example the most exhilerating moment is when we visited the Gorilla's, well the Silver Back was extra annoyed this day and he was being very protective of his daughters and charged at all the kids standing at the window, it was really scarey, he bashed his giant hands on the glass and sped away with that "don't *#?k with me" look on his face, I tell you my heart jumped out of my skin and for sure that was our cue to move on to the next exhibit, but boy don't you love moments like that. Sydney & Thierry were typical little guy's and relished in the excitement for quite a while. I really enjoyed the Australian section, I guess a little taste of home just really excites me and who knew that they even had a kiwi bird at the zoo, an overall great time at the zoo.

After the zoo Sydney and I met up with my darling Darryl he finally decided that he was going to get his eyes done after wearing glasses all of his life, its absolutely amazing in such a short time how your whole life is going to change, it was weird waiting for him, in just one hour it was all over and we're back home again. Its gonna take us a little time to get use to seeing him without his glasses, I thought they were sexy, however glasses or no glasses he'll always be sexy to me. He's resting now, he has to take it easy for the next 4 days and goes back to work Wednesday so I'll be doting over him this weekend.
